Steven J. Olsen, has been named a Partner at the law firm of Yoder Ainlay Ulmer & Buckingham LLP, effective January 1, 2017. Mr. Olsen graduated from Valparaiso University School of Law, summa cum laude, as its 2010 valedictorian; he earned a Masters of Business Administration, beta gamma sigma, from Valparaiso University; and was the top graduating student from the University of Central Missouri where he earned his B.S.B.A. in Marketing and Management, summa cum laude. He was admitted to practice law in Indiana in 2010, the same year he joined Yoder Ainlay Ulmer & Buckingham as an associate, and was admitted to practice law in Michigan in 2011. Mr. Olsen concentrates in corporate law, real estate law, and employment law. He also serves as the primary attorney at the firm handling trademark, copyright, and internet law matters. Prior to pursuing a legal career, Mr. Olsen’s past vocations included being an adjunct professor, a marketing and promotion consultant, and a business manager. Throughout Mr. Olsen’s practice, he has published legal scholarly articles, presented legal education courses, spoke at various civic engagements, served on non-profit boards, and volunteered for charitable organizations. In addition, Mr. Olsen continues to serve as an Adjunct Professor of Business Law at Goshen College.
