Jackson Beck Associate Attorney

I was born and raised in Archbold, Ohio, a small town in Northwest Ohio. In high school I participated in number of extra-curricular activities: marching band (trombone), men’s tennis, golf, bowling, and quiz team. Outside of school I spent most of my time hanging out with friends and practicing guitar. I then attended Goshen College where I majored in history and minored in music (classical guitar) and global economics.  At Goshen I continued playing men’s tennis and participated in the Lavender Jazz band (guitar and trombone). After college I got married to my wife, Kaeli, and we moved to Athens, Georgia where I got my master’s in historic preservation and my juris doctorate at the University of Georgia. After our time in Georgia, Kaeli and I moved to Pittsburgh where she began a master’s program in food studies and I worked at Gordon & Rees primarily drafting title opinions. When we decided that Pittsburgh was not a long-term home for us, we began searching for the next destination and were happy to move back to Goshen where we can both pursue our interests, be closer to family and friends, and finally settle down.
