Randall M. Jacobs is a partner at Yoder, Ainlay, Ulmer
& Buckingham, LLP. His practice areas include trusts, estates, probate,
nonprofit organizations, corporate law, and real estate. He is board certified as an Indiana Estate Planning and Administration Specialist.
Mr. Jacobs received his J.D. from Indiana University
School of Law in 1988, cum laude, and his B.A. from Goshen College in
1985. At Indiana University he was a member of the Indiana Law
Journal staff. He was admitted to the Indiana State Bar Association
in 1988 and joined the firm of Yoder, Ainlay, Ulmer & Buckingham
that year.
From 1991 until December 1999, Mr. Jacobs served as in-house
general counsel for Mennonite Mutual Aid, as well as Executive Director
of the Mennonite Foundation. He returned to Yoder, Ainlay, Ulmer
& Buckingham, LLP in January 2000.
Since 1988, he has been a member of the Elkhart County
Estate Planning Council, serving as President from 1996 to 1997.
He has served on numerous charitable boards. Currently he is a
Director of Charitable Accord, and is on the Board of Directors of United
Way of Elkhart County, Elkhart County Community Foundation, and Associated
Mennonite Biblical Seminary.
Mr. Jacobs is a member of the Goshen City, Indiana State
and American Bar Associations. Additionally, he is a member of sections
on taxation, real property, probate, and trust law.
