Kate E. Mueller is an associate at Yoder, Ainlay, Ulmer & Buckingham, LLP, where she concentrates in general trial practice. Her principal areas of litigation include commercial, employment, probate, governmental, and civil rights law.
Ms. Mueller is fluent in Spanish. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Notre Dame with a B.A. in both government and Spanish in 2001. That same year, she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. In 2004 she received her J.D. from Notre Dame Law School, where she served as note editor for the Journal of College and University Law. While earning her J.D., she directed the undergraduate debate team to unprecedented national success.
She is admitted to practice before all Indiana state courts, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Indiana, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. She is a member of the Goshen City, Indiana State, and American Bar Associations, as well as the Robert A. Grant Inn of Court.
Ms. Mueller has volunteered significant time as a coach and judge for the Indiana High School Mock Trial Association. She was recognized as a 2007 YWCA Tribute to Women honoree for being a "woman who has demonstrated outstanding leadership qualities and who, through her efforts and accomplishments, has served as a role model and helped other women achieve their potential."
