Two attorneys from Yoder Ainlay Ulmer & Buckingham, LLP, have been certified as Estate Planning and Administration Specialists by the Indiana State Bar Association. This designation was granted based on a rigorous application process and qualifying examination. Hayes and Jacobs are the first two lawyers in Elkhart County to pass this board examination.
Doug Hayes practices primarily in the areas of estate planning, probate and trust administration, elder law, and business law. He graduated magna cum laude from Notre Dame Law School in 1989, and summa cum laude from Fort Wayne Bible College in 1983. He is a member of the Indiana Bar Association, Goshen Bar Association, National Association of Elder Law Attorneys, and the Elkhart County Estate Planning Council. Hayes currently is serving on the boards of Bashor Children's Home and RETA.
Randall M. Jacobs practices in the areas of estate planning, trust and will administration, charitable planning, nonprofit and exempt organizations, and business law. He is a graduate of Goshen College in 1985 and cum laude from Indiana University School of Law, Bloomington, in 1988. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Indiana State Bar Association, the Goshen Bar Association and the Elkhart County Estate Planning Council. He serves as a director on the boards of the Elkhart County Community Foundation, the United Way of Elkhart County, and Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminary.
